Electronics EngineerBristol - HybridFull-time, 37.5 hours per weekSalary: £45-55k An established technology organisation is looking for an experienced Electronics Engineer to join its hardware development team in Bristol. The organisation develops technology designed to improve independence, accessibility and quality of life for people. This is an opportunity to work on products that have a meaningful real-world impact while being involved in the complete hardware development lifecycle. You will play a hands-on role in designing, prototyping, testing and supporting electronic products from early concepts through to manufacture. The role combines circuit design, PCB development, embedded firmware, laboratory testing and cross-functional engineering. We are looking for someone with strong practical electronics experience who enjoys solving complex technical problems and taking ownership of designs through to production. KeyResponsibilities: Design digital, analogue, mixed-signal and power electronics for embedded products, including DC-DC conversion and battery management. Develop schematics and multi-layer PCB layouts using tools such as Altium Designer. Develop and debug low-level embedded firmware for Nordic and STM32 platforms, including Zephyr RTOS. Prototype, test and validate hardware and firmware, using laboratory equipment to diagnose and resolve faults.
