Do you enjoy figuring out how something works before deciding how to fix it?   We are working with a specialist engineering design and manufacturing business solving complex, often legacy or obsolete engineering challenges for customers across aerospace, defence, rail, industrial and other high-reliability sectors. They are now looking to add an Electronics Design Engineer to the team.   This is a broad role rather than a narrow PCB design position. You will cover schematic capture, component selection, circuit and system-level design, plus reverse engineering and obsolescence work on legacy equipment with feasibility input on new customer enquiries too, alongside an experienced, multidisciplinary team.   Your responsibilities as an Electronics Design Engineer:     PCB layout, schematic capture and component selection across varied design projects.
