You''ll be involved end-to-end from concept through detailed design, verification, integration and test, working closely with wider engineering teams.The roleYou''ll contribute to board and unit-level hardware design, ensuring designs are robust, testable and suitable for introduction into production. The work includes supporting internal test activity as well as external environments (EMC test houses and customer installations where required).Key responsibilitiesDetailed electronic circuit design, including: component selection and evaluationschematic capturecircuit simulation and analysissupporting PCB layout teams through the design cycleBoard and unit-level design and test, including interfaces to higher-level assemblies/systemsDesign verification using a blend of simulation, analysis, and practical test methodsSupport EMC testing activity (including liaising with external test houses) and support to customer installations when neededProduce and maintain design documentation, technical reports, and supporting evidence packs (acceptance, fitness for purpose, ..... full job details .....
