You''ll start with concept and circuit design, then move through prototyping and testing, and on to supporting productionYou''ll be part of a small, agile team and work closely with firmware and mechanical engineers to deliver fully integrated devices. The role suits someone who enjoys variety, is happy to take on different kinds of work, and wants the autonomy of working in a small team.Key responsibilitiesDesign and develop electronic hardware for new automation productsCarry out schematic capture and PCB layout for mixed-signal, sensor and control designsBuild and test prototypes, then diagnose and fix any hardware issuesWork with firmware and mechanical engineers to deliver fully integrated productsDesign for manufacture in preparation for scaling up productionSupport EMC and safety compliance and certification as products move into productionEssential experienceA degree in Electronic or Electrical Engineering, or a related subjectSolid experience of analogue and digital circuit designHands-on PCB design experience, from schematic capture to production outputsExperience across the full development lifecycle, from concept and prototyping to productionA flexible, hands-on approach that suits a fast-moving environmentDesirable experienceCAD ..... full job details .....
