Electronics Design Engineer

World Class Defence Organisation based in Stevenage is currently looking to recruit 5x Electronics Design Engineer subcontractors on an initial 12 month contract. The role will be a hybrid position of circa 2-3 days per week onsite and the rest working from home. Electronic Design Engineers with excellent skills in Analogue Design or Digital Design or Power Design are sought after. Hourly Rate: £58ph - £63ph (Umbrella)Contract Duration: 12 Months (initially and then ongoing and long-term thereafter)Electronics Design Engineer Job Description:Whilst the primary aim is focused on highly advanced module missile programmes, there is also scope to work on other unique opportunities, offering the right candidate a true engineering challenge in their core discipline.Responsibilities:Conducting Technical investigations on Prime Hardware or Test EquipmentEvaluating issues and proposing and delivering design changesSupporting the Manufacturing teams to enable the continuation of productionLiaising with Design teams to ensure route cause and corrective actions are implementedObsolescence investigations and preventative design changesDesigning test equipment and solutions to aid in the manufacturing processSkillset/experience required: Significant proven experience in the design of Digital and Analogue electronics, preferably in the defence industry, (but not essential).
