Electronics Design Engineer

Job Title: Electronics Design Engineer Duration: 6 Months Rolling Location: Yeovil (On Site) Rate: Negotiable on experience (Outside IR35) Role Overview We are seeking a hands-on Electronics Design Engineer to develop IoT-enabled compliance hardware. The role focuses on circuit and PCB design, prototyping, and compliance testing, while working closely with firmware and mechanical teams to deliver reliable, production-ready products. Key Responsibilities Design and develop electronic circuits, PCBs, and power systems. Produce schematics, layouts, BOMs, and test documentation. Integrate wireless communication interfaces such as LoRa, BLE, or Wi-Fi. Support prototype assembly, validation testing, and transition to volume manufacture. Collaborate with firmware, mechanical, and product teams for seamless integration. Requirements Proven PCB design experience (Altium, KiCad, OrCAD, or Allegro). Strong understanding of circuit design, power management, and IoT hardware. Knowledge of compliance testing and certification processes.
