Electronics Assembly Operative (contract) Newbury £17.76 per hour We are looking for an Electronics Assembly Operative to join a busy and growing manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in through-hole soldering, PCB assembly and hand soldering of electronic components. Electronics Assembly Operative Roles and Responsibilities: Carrying out through-hole soldering of electronic components onto PCBs Hand soldering components and wires to circuit boards to a high standard Assembling and fitting electronic components in line with drawings and work instructions Carrying out PCB assembly, rework and repairs where required Trimming component leads and checking solder joints for quality and accuracy Following technical drawings, assembly instructions and standard operating procedures Carrying out visual inspections to identify poor solder joints, defects and other issues Completing production, quality and traceability records accurately Handling electronic components correctly and following ESD procedures Supporting general electronic assembly and sub-assembly work Maintaining a clean and organised work area in line with 6S principles Working towards production targets while maintaining a high level of quality and accuracy Reporting any defects, shortages or production issues Following all company quality, health and safety procedures Electronics Assembly Operative Ideal Candidate: Previous experience in an electronics assembly or manufacturing environment ..... full job details .....
