Electronics Assembler / Production Operator

Our small dynamic Production team is looking for a detailed-oriented Electronics Assembler/Production Operator working at Swavesey/Cambridge Site, bringing outside knowledge and a thirst for success and joining our future progression as a company.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling electronic components and systems with precision and care. This role requires a strong understanding of electronic assembly processes, as well as the ability to work with various tools and technologies.
MAIN DUTIES

Assemble electronic components and products according to engineering instructions and specifications.

Use hand tools and power tools to solder, crimp, and connect electrical components.

Perform surface mount technology (SMT) assembly, including placing and soldering surface mount components onto circuit boards.

Test assembled products to ensure proper functionality and quality.

Troubleshoot and repair electronic assemblies as needed.

Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Assisting in the implementation of Lean.

Support with Goods inward tasks.
Mandatory requirements
-
Full Clean Drivers Licence.

Able to Work on Site 37.5 Hours per week (minimum)

Understands Technical drawings.

Has Basic Soldering Skills ( Further Training Provided )
KEY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Previous experience in electronic assembly or a related field preferred.

Strong knowledge of electrical components and circuitry.

Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and soldering equipment.

Ability to read and interpret engineering instructions, diagrams, and blueprints.

Experience with logic controllers and mechanical knowledge is a plus.

Detail-oriented with excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.

Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Monthly Salary: Starting from £25,000 per annum.
Working hours: Monday – Friday from 6:30 to 14:30. Total hours of work per week are 37.5 hours.
