Electronic Trading Network and Systems Engineer

Our client is a prestigious buy-side electronic trading business. Additional headcount has been approved for a Senior Low Latency Network and Systems Engineer to help develop and optimise its high-performance trading infrastructure. This is an opportunity to work on technically demanding infrastructure where network performance, system efficiency and execution speed are critical to trading performance. You will take ownership of engineering and optimising ultra-low-latency infrastructure spanning Linux servers, high-performance networks, physical colocation environments and AWS cloud infrastructure. The role offers significant technical ownership, with the opportunity to influence infrastructure architecture, introduce new technologies and deliver measurable improvements in trading system performance.
