Electronic Test Engineer

Test Engineer Electronics Manufacturing Location: Stoke-on-Trent Salary: £30,000 £35,000 Job Type: Full-time, Permanent A growing electronics manufacturing business based in Stoke-on-Trent is looking to recruit two Test Engineers to join its expanding production and engineering team. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with strong electronic fault-finding skills, offering the opportunity to work on a variety of electronic assemblies within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The Role As a Test Engineer, you will be responsible for testing, diagnosing and validating electronic products to ensure they meet required performance and quality standards. You will play a key role in identifying faults at component level, supporting production, and working closely with engineering teams to drive continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Diagnose faults down to component level on electronic assemblies Carry out testing and troubleshooting of products during production Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams and technical documentation Use test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters and signal generators Program electronic devices using PC-based tools Maintain accurate test records and documentation Work closely with production, engineering and quality teams to resolve issues Support continuous improvement initiatives within the test process What We re Looking For HNC or equivalent in Electronic Engineering (or relevant experience) Strong component-level ..... full job details .....
