Our client is a leader in their field are recruiting for an Electronic Test Engineer to join their growing team within the resistors side.Electronic Test Engineer Roles and Responsibilities: Supporting production with the running of automated test equipmentSetting up and maintaining electrical measurement systemsEvaluating and interpreting customer test specificationsDesigning and constructing test hardwareModifying/generating test codeDeveloping an understanding of the production test machinery and becoming the in-house expert on its function and useResearching, designing, and developing equipment/processes to optimise productivity and workflowUpdating/producing technical documentation such as circuit diagrams, test procedures and operating instructionsIdentifying and procuring new test equipmentProviding training to / and supporting production operatorsWorking with Quality to develop golden samples required for day-to-day checks on machinesOverseeing the calibration and controlling the movement of test equipment within productionElectronic Test Engineer Ideal Candidate:HNC in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, or equivalentRelevant experience in an electronics production environmentGood fault diagnosis skills down to component levelExperience using test instrumentation such as Oscilloscopes, Signal Generators and Digital MultimetersThe ability to work collaboratively as part of a small team, but able to tackle solo projects when neededA keen interest in software ..... full job details .....
