Electronic Test Engineer

What you''ll doPerform IPC-level inspections of electronic assemblies before the test or as part of the production cycleExecute formal test documentation, including recording of results-hardware, software and firmware programme configurationTake measurements using common range test equipmentProvide feedback for test documentation discrepanciesBecome familiar with the operating system, record all results in a timely manner and keep an up-to-date narrativeEnsure all HandS requirements are met, and the assembly area is maintained as a safe, clean and tidy working environmentResponsible for maintaining a high quality of work to deadlines provided by the businessResponsible for recording details of defects found and accurate test recordsResponsible for adhering to the company''s policies and procedures What you''ll need Previous experience in a manufacturing environment for a minimum of three yearsPrevious experience working to high standards against deadlinesPrevious experience dealing directly with engineering teamsPrevious experience working on Defence projects,IPC level inspection certification,BTEC Electronics qualification (ONC/HNC/HND) or equivalent. You will also require the following:Broad experience in using test equipment, including digital oscilloscopes, Spectrum Analysers, Function Generators, Multimeters and Power SuppliesAbility to maintain several production test and reference facilitiesExperienced in problem-solving, fault finding and repair down to the component ..... full job details .....
