Electronic Technician

We are currently recruiting an Electronic Technician for our client based in Carrickfergus. The successful candidates will be required to start once the vetting paperwork and ANI completed. Pay Rate: £17.43 per hour Hours: Full time, 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday - flexible hours working with Core hours 10.00-12.00 and 14.00-16.00. Duration: 4th October 2026 Start Date: ASAP Location: Seapark, 151 Belfast Road, Carrickfergus, Co. Antrim. BT38 8PL Job Duties: Installation, service/maintenance and repair of Evidential Breath Testing Equipment. Installation and maintenance of calibrated measured distances. Installation, repair and calibration of speed metering equipment, as required by policing services within Northern Ireland. Providing a first line diagnosis and repair service to customers, across all 3 work streams within agreed timescales. Re-prioritising work to meet changing and competing demands. Informing the manager if work may exceed expected timescales. Contributing, appropriately, to development of new techniques and/or procedures. Work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders to maximise results and effectiveness of service. Checking stock levels, ordering of supplies and assisting in the preparation of financial budgets. Ensuring all documentation and results are accurately recorded and maintained.
