We''re recruiting on behalf of a well-established technology business for a talented Electronic Repair Engineer to join a specialist support team in Slough.

The Role

As an Electronic Repair Engineer you''ll be the first point of contact for technical support queries on complex electronic equipment and devices. Day-to-day the Electronic Repair Engineer will be fault-finding and repairing returned equipment to component level, handling customer technical queries, and providing out-of-hours helpdesk cover on a rota basis.

The Electronic Repair Engineer will also be involved in acceptance testing of new and refurbished equipment, implementing hardware and software modifications, and maintaining accurate fault logs to support quality and trend analysis.

What We''re Looking For

The ideal Electronic Repair Engineer will have:

• Hands-on experience in fault diagnosis and component-level repair of electronic or electro-mechanical systems
• Confidence working with customers and communicating technical information clearly
• Qualifications to ONC level or equivalent (City & Guilds, HNC or degree in an electronics discipline)

Experience with electronic systems and familiarity with recognised test standards would be advantageous for the Electronic Repair Engineer, but isn''t essential.
