Electronic Engineer (Remote First)

We''re recruiting on behalf of an innovative technology business developing cutting-edge industrial sensing technology used by manufacturers around the world.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Electronic Engineer to join a growing R&D team working on the next generation of intelligent sensor technology. You''ll play a key role across the full product development lifecycle, from circuit design and PCB development through to embedded firmware, testing and product validation.

Working within a collaborative engineering environment, you''ll have the opportunity to contribute to genuinely innovative products while enjoying a high degree of autonomy and flexibility.

You''ll only need to attend the Birmingham office once a fortnight on a Friday for team meetings.

What We''re Looking For

We''re interested in engineers with commercial experience in areas such as:

• Analogue and digital electronics.
• PCB design and layout.
• Circuit design and simulation.
• Embedded firmware development.
• C programming.
• Digital Signal Processing (DSP).
• Design for manufacture.
• EMC awareness.
• Altium or KiCad.

Experience with any of the following would also be advantageous:

• ATEX design.
• Environmental testing standards.
• Siemens S7 PLCs.
• STM32 microcontrollers.
• Xilinx Zynq devices.
• Linux development.
