Electronic Design Supervisor required by leading Engineering company, based in North Somerset. The successful Electronic Design Supervisor will provide leadership, support and training to the Electronic Design Team in addition to design of electronic circuits.

Main Duties: Electronic Design Supervisor

• Project planning and leading daily team meetings.
• Advising team members of company design strategies.
• Preparing and presenting proposals.
• Providing technical support and training to the team.
• Design, new product development and through life cycle support of digital and analogue circuits.
• Liaising with customers to understand requirements and integrating these into designs.
• Working closely  with other departments to ensure that correct procedures are followed.
• Carrying out detailed electronic circuit design and testing.
• Ensuring that Health and Safety standards are upheld.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following: Electronic Design Supervisor

• Educated to Degree level or equivalent in Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience.
• A background within a similar role, providing leadership to a team.
• Experience of using Altium software or similar.
• Previous experience of working with electrical and electronic test equipment.
• Proficient with analogue and digital circuit design.
• Experience of designing mixed technology multi layer PCBs.
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
