Electronic Design Engineer

Job Title: Electronic Design EngineerLocation: PortsmouthSalary: £50,000 - £60,000 (Depending on Experience)Note: All applicants must be able to work in the UK without the need for VISA Sponsorship now, or in the future. We are looking for an Electronic Design Engineer with 3+ years of commercial experience with an an understanding of design and test in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a regulated industry or sector This client builds Electronic systems that are deployed across the UK and they are looking to grow the team.A successful candidate will be pivotal to the development of their latest products as well as the upgrading of their existing systems. Key Responsibilities: - Work with existing Embedded Software and Electronic Engineers to design, develop, modify and test new and existing systems - Design of electronic systems and complete products, taking into consideration component availability and longevity - Develop and integrate hardware and software components to enable the advancement of new systems and the improvement of existing platforms. - Plan and conduct failure analyses to identify root causes from PCB through to product and system levels. - Utilise a range of test and measurement equipment, including DMMs and oscilloscopes to evaluate PCBs and associated components- Design, develop, review, and test embedded firmware using C.- Design, review, and test electronic hardware, including PCB development.- Develop new hardware and software assemblies and ..... full job details .....
