Electronic Assembler

Position: Electronic AssemblerLocation: Bedford Proactive currently have an exciting opportunity for an Electronic Assembler to begin work for a leading manufacturing and production business based in Bedford. The client manufacture automated inspection tools for service companies and operate mainly within the Energy, Industrial and Utilities Market Sectors for Oil and Gas, Wind Energy, Ship Care and Utilities IndustriesDue to rapid company expansion and an ever growing order book, our client is hoping to recruit at least one additional Electronic Assembler to help ensure the quality and accuracy of the site''s function is well maintained throughout this new and excited influx of work.You will be responsible for:Assemble components and sub-systemsSoldering, Wiring, Crimping, and mounting of PCB''sInspect, test and calibrateFollow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and proceduresKeep thorough records of production processes and assist in inventory management Experience/Qualifications: Technical diploma or equivalentAt least 3 years proven experience as an electronics assembler or equivalentFamiliarity with electronic components, assembly tools and techniques and test equipment (oscilloscopes etc.)Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematic diagramsStrong communication and teamworkLegal Right to live and work in the UK Nice to have:Experience in keeping thorough records of production processesInventory managementIPC CertificationFault finding If you ..... full job details .....
