About the Role

Pertemps Warrington is seeking an Electronic Assembler for a temporary, full-time role based in Woolston. The position offers a salary between £28,000 and £32,000 per annum, depending on experience, with standard working hours of Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 16:30. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will assemble and occasionally refurbish bespoke components for sectors including Nuclear, Oil & Gas, and Aerospace. Key responsibilities include assembling transducers, creating cable assemblies and accessories, soldering electronic parts, and interpreting electrical drawings and schematics. Maintaining a tidy workspace and ensuring the safe use of hydraulic equipment are also required. Candidates should possess strong soldering skills and the ability to work accurately from technical documentation.

Company & Role: 
We are currently recruiting for a Permanent Electronic Assembly Technician for our client who are a highly reputable UK leader in the design and manufacturing of specialised/bespoke components for the Nuclear, Oil & Gas and Aerospace industries.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will carry out the assembly and, where appropriate, the refurbishment of the Company's products.
As an Electronic Assembler your duties will be;

  • Assemble transducers, make cable assemblies and accessories as directed.
  • Solder electronic components.
  • Work to electrical drawings/schematics.
  • Maintain a tidy workplace environment.
  • Safe use of hydraulic press.
  • Follow work/build instructions, prioritising multiple orders.
  • Comply with Health & Safety responsibilities.

The successful Electronic Assembler will have the following skills;
  • Experienced in Electrical Wiring and Electronic Assembly.
  • Previous experience in small electronic type bench assembly.
  • Understanding of electrical drawings/schematics
  • Soldering experience of small components.
  • Analytical and problem-solving electronic fault finding/ fault investigation and reporting.
  • Attention to detail, dedicated, able to work within small team.
  • Self-motivated and focused.
