Location: RochdaleRate: 35 - 40 per hour (Umbrella, Inside IR35)Hours: 37.5 per weekClearance: Must be eligible for SC clearance The Role:As a Test Engineer, you''ll play a key role in ensuring product performance through rigorous testing and fault diagnosis down to component level. You''ll work across various test environments to support both manufacturing and after-sales diagnostics in a facility that''s recently undergone major investment and development. Key Responsibilities:Testing electronic sub-assemblies and full systemsDiagnosing issues and identifying component-level failuresDeveloping and executing both manual and automated test proceduresSupporting Avionics and Environmental test activitiesAnalysing test data and yield trendsCollaborating closely with Engineering and NPI teams What You''ll Need:HNC/Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering (or equivalent)Solid experience in electronic testing and fault-findingStrong knowledge of both AC/DC power productsProficiency with test equipment (oscilloscopes, signal generators, multimeters, etc.)Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematicsPrevious experience in an Aerospace, Defence or similar high-reliability environment ..... full job details .....
