      <description>Location: Gateshead | Salary: &amp;pound;14 - &amp;pound;18/hour | Type: Contract | My client is a leading international electromechanical engineering technology business, specialising technology for the vastly growing electrification and transportation sectors.- Reporting to the Engineering Manager, my client seeks 2 x Electromechanical Technicians to join their Test Function, working across two sites for a 6-9 month PAYE contract assignment.  The Electromechanical Technicians will be primarily responsible for:  - Product assembly and testing - Test rig design, maintenance, calibration-and fabrication - Running Test programmes and report writing - Assisting R&amp;D Engineers with product analysis, FMEAs , design reviews etc. - Continuous improvement activities - General housekeeping  Working across the Gateshead and Northumberland sites across the working week, my client seeks experience electromechanical engineering professionals with electrical and some mechanical expertise.-  Additional selection requirements include:    A good knowledge of electronic circuits   Assembly, troubleshooting and testing of electronic products.
