Electro Plater

Due to continued demand, I am now looking to appoint an experienced Electro-Plater to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an Electro-Plater who takes pride in producing high-quality finishes and wants to work in a professional setting where safety, consistency and attention to detail are paramount. As an Electro-Plater, you will play a key role in the finishing process, working hands-on with cadmium and zinc-nickel plating to ensure all components meet exacting standards before leaving the shop floor. The successful Electro-Plater will be responsible for:Preparing metal components for plating, including cleaning, degreasing, and maskingMixing and preparing cadmium and zinc-nickel plating solutions to precise specificationsOperating electroplating tanks and associated power suppliesMonitoring current, voltage, and solution temperatures throughout the plating cycleChecking plating thickness and quality to ensure required standards are metInspecting finished parts using micrometers, calipers, and visual inspection techniquesCleaning and maintaining electroplating equipment to ensure safe and reliable operationMaintaining accurate process records and documentationSupporting with ordering materials and consumablesAssisting in training new electroplaters where ..... full job details .....
