Electro-Mechanical Winder

This role involves the maintenance, repair, assembly, and testing of electric rotors, stators, armatures, and related components. Key Responsibilities:Wind, assemble, and install wire coils for electric rotors, stators, armatures and other components - manually and/or using machinery.Assemble subcomponents into complete products, following technical drawings, work instructions, and inspection criteria.Conduct mechanical reliability tests, including core loss, hi-pot, phase balance, and rotational direction.Inspect, assess, and carry out rework or repairs as necessary.Measure parts and clearances with precision instruments.Operate hand tools and machinery required for assembly work.Ensure work area is clean, organized, and operates in line with 5S standards.Maintain accurate records of production activities and issues encountered.Perform quality checks and tests on completed assemblies.Support Continuous Improvement initiatives and suggest process enhancements.Adhere to all company safety protocols and PPE requirements.Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.Undertake additional duties as required, including cross-training and supporting other departments.
