Electro-Mechanical WinderAbout the RoleWe are currently seeking a skilled Electro-Mechanical Winder to join a specialist engineering and manufacturing team. This role involves the assembly, maintenance, repair and testing of electric motors and associated components, including rotors, stators and armatures.This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in electro-mechanical assembly, electrical winding or precision hands-on assembly work.Key ResponsibilitiesWind, assemble and install wire coils for electric rotors, stators, armatures and other components, both manually and using machinery.Assemble components into finished products, following technical drawings, work instructions and quality standards.Carry out electrical and mechanical tests, including high-potential (Hi-Pot), core loss, phase balance and rotational direction testing.Inspect components, identify faults and carry out repairs or rework where required.Measure components and clearances using precision measuring equipment.Operate hand tools and machinery safely and effectively.Complete quality inspections and testing on finished assemblies.Maintain accurate production records and report any issues.Maintain a clean and organised working environment in line with 5S standards.Support continuous improvement activities and process enhancements.Follow all health and safety procedures and PPE requirements.Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics and technical documentation.Support other ..... full job details .....
