Electro-Mechanical Technician

FINTEC recruit is seeking a Electro-Mechanical Technician for our long established and successful manufacturing /production client based south of Edinburgh.  This is working 36 hours per week over 4 days (9 hour days); Every Friday off.   Salary is negotiable by experience, up to circa £30,000 plus annual bonus, details on application.

Responsibilities

• Setting up, maintaining, calibrating and repairing electro mechanical systems.
• Diagnose and repair faults, perform tests & follow technical instructions/manual to ensure accurate operation of the systems
• To maintain the service & calibration records.

Skills and Experience required for the Electro-MechanicalTechnician role: 

• Experienced mechanical technician / electronic technician / service technician
• Experience of  testing and fault finding electronic boards would also be advantageous
• Able to read engineering drawings and circuit diagrams
• Able to use measuring tools, multi-meters etc
• Apprentice trained/time-served,  or mechanically / electronically  qualified with HNC or HND
