Job Title: Electro-Mechanical Field Team Assessor
Location: Humber Region (Based at centres in Hull, Grimsby, or Scunthorpe)
Travel: Requires travel across local training sites and regular visits to employer premises
Salary:

• -39,328 per annum - No Assessor qualification but relevant industry experience
• -39,775 per annum - Level 3 Assessor qualification and relevant industry experience
• -40,990 per annum - IQA Qualification Level 4 and relevant industry experience
• Plus an Annual Performance-Based Bonus
  Hours: Full-time, Permanent

The Opportunity:

As an Electro-Mechanical Field Team Assessor, you will play a crucial role in the development of engineering apprentices. You will step into a mobile, workplace-facing role, visiting apprentices directly within their engineering and manufacturing work environments to assess, track, and support their progress toward completing their apprenticeship standards.
Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting regular workplace site visits across the region to assess apprentices'' practical skills and knowledge.
• Reviewing and auditing learner portfolios against required electro-mechanical apprenticeship standards.
• Providing constructive, supportive feedback and guidance to help apprentices develop their technical capabilities.
• Collaborating closely with internal training teams and employer supervisors to ensure consistent educational progress.
• Maintaining accurate progress records and ensuring all compliance tracking is up to date.

What We Need From You (Key Criteria)

• Technical Expertise: Strong practical electro-mechanical skills with relevant trade qualifications at Level 3 or above.
• Industry Experience: Proven track record working within an industrial, engineering, or manufacturing environment.
• Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication abilities with a clear, genuine commitment to the professional development of young people.
• Logistics: A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential, as public transport is not a practical option for the multi-site travel required.
• Qualifications Background: Existing Assessor (Level 3) or IQA (Level 4) qualifications are highly desirable but not essential. Full training and qualification sponsorship will be provided to the right candidate.
