Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician6 month contractHours Monday Friday with early finish / half day FridayImmediate start availableWe are looking for an experienced Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician to join a fast-paced manufacturing business during a busy period on a contract basis.This is a hands-on assembly role requiring good electro-mechanical aptitude, attention to detail and the ability to work accurately from technical drawings, work instructions / assembly instructions.Ideally, you will have previous experience working within a safety-critical or highly regulated manufacturing environment, such as automotive, aerospace, medical devices or similar, although not essential.Key Responsibilities:Build electro-mechanical assemblies from technical drawingsAssemble mechanical and electrical componentsSoldering Use hand tools and measuring equipment such as micrometers and verniersInspect and test completed assemblies to ensure quality and accuracyCarry out upgrades and repairs to electro-mechanical assembliesWork to defined quality procedures and standardsSkills and Experience:Previous electro-mechanical or mechanical assembly experienceIdeally from automotive, aerospace, medical or another safety-critical manufacturing environmentAble to read and work from engineering/technical drawingsSoldering skillsConfident using hand tools and measuring equipmentExperience assembling small, detailed componentsThis would suit someone from an Assembly Technician, ..... full job details .....
