Syntech Recruitment are working with a highly successful engineering manufacturer based in Woking who are expanding their production team following the award of a significant new drone manufacturing contract alongside their established range of precision electronic and electromechanical products.
As a result of continued growth, they are looking to recruit-four Assemblers-across both standard electromechanical assembly and soldering-focused positions.

Electro-Mechanical Assembler Role
Working within the production team, you will be involved in the assembly of high-quality electromechanical products and systems.
Duties may include:
- Electromechanical assembly of products and sub-assemblies
- Working from build instructions and engineering documentation
- Assembly of small mechanical components using hand tools
- Fitting components using Torx drivers, screwdrivers and assembly fixtures
- Handling electronic assemblies and PCBs
- Working to quality standards and production targets
- Applying adhesives and completing basic finishing tasks where required
For soldering-focused positions, duties will also include:
- Through-hole soldering
- Soldering wires to connectors and small electronic assemblies
- Basic PCB assembly work
- Completing soldering work to a high-quality standard
Electro-Mechanical Assembler Profile
- Previous assembly experience within manufacturing, engineering, electronics or a similar environment
- Good manual dexterity and practical skills
- Ability to follow detailed work instructions accurately
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
For Soldering Technician positions:
- Previous soldering experience
- Confidence soldering wires, connectors or PCB assemblies
- Willingness to complete a short practical soldering assessment during interview
