Location: Letchworth Garden City

Our client, a leading UK electronics manufacturer, is looking for an Electro-Mechanical Assembler to join their production team.

Electro-Mechanical Requirements:

• Experience in assembling electrical and mechanical components to a high standard
• Ability to solder conventional components accurately (IPC-A-610 Class 2)
• Experience with SMT rework is advantageous
• Strong ability to carry out visual inspections to ensure build quality and compliance
• Competence in checking assembled units for correct assembly and functionality
• Ability to test assembled circuit boards and electro-mechanical assemblies
• Accurate record-keeping and attention to detail

Electro-Mechanical Responsibilities:

• Work within a manufacturing environment assembling electro-mechanical products
• Build assemblies from engineering drawings and written instructions accurately
• Produce a wide range of products, including those for the aerospace industry
• Carry out mechanical assembly, wiring, and soldering as required
• Work effectively as part of a production team to meet build and quality targets
