Electro-Mechanical Assembler

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Carry out electro-mechanical assembly work in accordance with engineering drawings and/or CMMs.
• Carry out electro-mechanical assembly and installation of fans, motors and/or heaters in accordance with drawings and/or CMMs.
• Use a range of basic hand tools and precision measuring equipment, including torque drivers, micrometers and verniers.
• Assemble parts and units to specified requirements, ensuring they meet quality standards and function correctly. This may include drilling, tapping, reaming, countersinking, filing, lapping, buffing and lubrication.
• Connect cables and wires in accordance with specified requirements and relevant documentation.
• Conduct testing and inspections to identify, diagnose and resolve any issues.
• Follow all company manufacturing procedures, processes and quality requirements.
• Complete all relevant production, quality and manufacturing documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Provide information and assistance to customers, suppliers and visitors from other companies within the Group. Visitors may tour the factory floor, examine parts and observe manufacturing activities; therefore, the ability to communicate professionally and effectively at all levels is essential.
• Participate in Continuous Improvement and 5S activities that contribute to product quality, efficiency and output.
• Use all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided, in accordance with company requirements.
• Carry out all duties and activities in a timely and efficient manner to support the achievement of company manufacturing targets.

Additional Requirements

• Due to the nature of the work, candidates must be eligible for BPSS Clearance.
• Ability to provide a minimum of 5 years'' employment history.
• Will be subject to a CRB check and address verification.
