Electro-Mechanical Assembler

Responsibilities:Building of scanner machines from engineering drawings, diagrams and standard work instructionsUndertake repair and rework of mechanical assembliesBe able to interpret Electrical Wire schematics and undertake fault finding and rectificationResponsible for quality of build in all areas including documentation, including self-checking and buddy checksMaintain throughput targetsAssist in other areas of manufacturing as requiredEnsure familiarity with stores and stock control and assist when directedSupport the development of Lean principles within the work area, suggest improvements.Undertake prototype assembly and assist with Manufacturing Engineering on Project work.Strict adherence to Safe work practicesSupport the improvement of the facility, including implementation of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, BPD and Continuous Improvements.Comply with all Health and safety policiesUphold the company''s core values of Integrity, Innovation, Accountability, and TeamworkQualifications:Experience of assembling complex electro-mechanical productsAbility to work quickly and accurately with minimal supervision.Adaptability combined with good communication skillsAbility to work on own initiative following company proceduresAbility to perform basic testing and problem solvingAbility to work accurately to procedures to produce work of consistent high qualityAble to integrate well into an established team supporting and assisting colleagues when requiredGCSE level maths and ..... full job details .....
