Electro-Mechanical Assembler

You will be responsible for building and testing a range of complex assemblies, working from engineering drawings and established manufacturing processes to ensure consistent quality and on-time delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesAssemble complex mechanical and electro-mechanical systems from engineering drawings and work instructionsBuild sub-assemblies and full systems with high levels of accuracy and attention to detailInterpret BOMs and ensure all components are fitted to required tolerancesCarry out basic fault finding and support root cause analysis of build issuesMaintain high standards of cleanliness and quality throughout the assembly processIdentify opportunities for continuous improvement in build efficiency and outputWork collaboratively with production and engineering teams to meet deadlinesSkills and ExperienceProven experience in mechanical or electro-mechanical assemblyAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and specificationsStrong attention to detail and understanding of tolerancesExperience using measuring equipment (e.g. micrometers, verniers, calipers)Hands-on approach with strong problem-solving abilityKnowledge of general machining processes (manual or CNC desirable)Familiarity with MRP systems and production documentation advantageousComfortable using Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook)Understanding of health and safety and workshop best practicesIdeally 5+ years'' experience within an engineering/manufacturing environmentWorking Hours and ..... full job details .....
