Are you an Electrical Engineer with experience in the Electricity Distribution sector looking for an interesting and important role within a large, national utilities infrastructure company.
The role may suit an Engineer who has been hands on in the sector wanting to utilise their technical skills and sector in a fresh and new position.
The role involves little travel and can offer 2 days/week working from home.
The position will focus on developing update of technical standards and policies, relating to the construction and operation of electricity networks, with a strong focus on health and safety compliance.
The Role
- Full time, permanent position for a large, national utilities infrastructure company.
- Develop technical standards and policies for the design, construction and delivery of network projects, with specific reference to Inspection & Maintenance activities
- Ensure standards are complaint with all the legislation, including Health and Safety matters
- Represent the business at industry standard groups including with the Energy Networks Association
The Person
- HNC Electrical Engineering or above
- Experience in electricity distribution systems
- Understanding of the relevant health & safety legislation in the electricity distribution industry
- UK driving licence
