Electrician/Electrical Tester

We are currently working with a leading contractor who has a vacancy for an Electrician to join their team, covering a small area in Essex.

This role involves carrying out all aspects of electrical repairs, installation and fault finding. if candidate does hold testing and inspection qualification this would be desirable and candidate could be required to carry out testing within occupied properties, ensuring that C1 and C2 remedial works are completed to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

• Electrical repairs and maintenance

• Fault finding and diagnostic work

• Inspection and testing

• Completing C1 and C2 remedial works within occupied domestic properties

Essential Qualifications:

• City & Guilds 236 Part 1 & 2 (or NVQ Level 3 equivalent)

• 17th/18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671)

• 2391 Inspection & Testing (or strong testing experience)

• AM2 - Desirable
