ElectricianNorth Northamptonshire £25.78 per hour (Umbrella) 3-Month Ongoing Contract 37 Hours per Week Monday to FridayA leading Local Authority is looking for an experienced Electrician to join their busy repairs and maintenance team on a 3-month ongoing contract.Working across occupied and void social housing properties, you''ll carry out a range of electrical repairs, remedial works, testing and inspection, helping to maintain safe, compliant homes for residents.Key Responsibilities Carry out electrical repairs and remedial works across occupied and void residential properties. Complete testing and inspection works in line with current regulations. Undertake minor rewiring works within void properties where required. Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high standards of workmanship. Ensure all work complies with current electrical regulations and health and safety legislation. Participate in the out-of-hours call-out rota (1 week in every 4).About You City and Guilds 2360 Parts 1 and 2 (or equivalent). City and Guilds 2382 - 18th Edition Wiring Regulations. Experience working within social housing, property maintenance or a similar environment. Competent carrying out testing and inspection works. Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is desirable (mileage paid), although a company vehicle may be available.
