Electrician

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable, qualified and versatile Electrician to join our team. This is a mobile, van-based role involving a variety of electrical work across multiple sites, with projects ranging from small tasks to works lasting several days or a few weeks.

You will travel between different sites, carrying out electrical installations, repairs, maintenance and remedial works as required. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, adaptable and confident working independently to complete jobs efficiently and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Travel between various sites in a company van to carry out electrical works.
• Complete electrical projects of varying sizes and durations.
• Carry out electrical installations, repairs, fault finding and remedial works.
• Undertake planned and reactive maintenance as required.
• Diagnose electrical faults and implement effective solutions.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with current electrical regulations.
• Complete electrical certification, job sheets and other relevant documentation.
• Liaise professionally with clients, site managers and colleagues.
• Manage time, materials and workloads effectively to meet deadlines.
• Maintain company tools, equipment and van stock.
• Keep work areas clean, tidy and safe.

Essential Requirements

• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.
• Relevant electrical qualifications, such as NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or an equivalent recognised qualification.
• Experience working as an electrician across a variety of sites.
• Inspection and Testing qualification (2391 or equivalent).
• Experience in commercial, industrial or domestic electrical work.
• Good practical fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of current wiring regulations and electrical safety requirements.
• Ability to work independently, manage workloads and prioritise tasks.
