Electrician - Social Housing Repairs & Maintenance

We are recruiting for an experienced Electrician to join a leading property services contractor delivering electrical maintenance and installation works across social housing properties in East Sussex.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Electrician looking for a stable, long-term role with a well-established organisation offering ongoing training, career progression and a strong benefits package.

The Role

As an Electrician, you will be responsible for carrying out electrical repairs, maintenance, testing and installation works within occupied and void residential properties. You will ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and in line with current electrical regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical installations, maintenance and repair works in domestic properties

• Complete electrical testing and inspection works

• Undertake routine servicing of electrical systems and equipment

• Diagnose faults and identify non-compliant installations

• Replace sockets, switches, lighting and associated electrical components

• Complete job documentation accurately and efficiently

• Ensure all work complies with current regulations and health & safety requirements

• Deliver a high standard of customer service when working in residents'' homes

About You

To be successful in this Electrician position, you will have:

• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations

• AM2 Qualification

• 2391 Inspection & Testing Qualification

• Experience working within domestic properties

• Strong knowledge of electrical compliance and safety standards

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Full UK Driving Licence

A DBS check will be completed as part of the onboarding process.
