Due to a sustained increase in workload, we are seeking an experienced Approved Electrician to join our well-established General Works team based in Cambridge.This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a respected and growing organisation delivering high-quality electrical services across multiple sectors, including Education, Healthcare, Commercial, Defence and Research. Our projects span Cambridgeshire and neighbouring counties, supporting a strong base of repeat business.Reporting directly to the General Works and Maintenance Manager, you will:Carry out installation, servicing, and repair of a wide range of electrical systemsModify, fault-find and install electrical systems within commercial and industrial environmentsTest and inspect electrical installations, including completing Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs)Liaise directly with clients, representing the business in a professional and proactive mannerWork independently using your own initiative while maintaining high standards of workmanshipWe are looking for a qualified electrician with:A minimum of 5 years'' experience post-apprenticeshipStrong commercial and industrial experienceSound knowledge of current Health and Safety requirementsGood understanding of BS7671 and relevant Building RegulationsThe ability to work unsupervised and manage workload effectivelyJIB RatesEssential Qualifications and RequirementsNVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation18th Edition (BS7671)CSCS/ECS CardFull UK Driving ..... full job details .....
