      <description>Location: County Durham | Salary: 41000.00-41000.00 Annual | Type: Permanent | Our client is seeking an experienced Electrician to join their team, responsible for planned and responsive electrical maintenance across a range of facilities. The role will involve maintaining electrical systems, carrying out repairs and minor works, supporting project installations and ensuring all work is completed safely and to the required standards. This is a hands-on position suited to a qualified electrician with strong maintenance experience and the ability to work independently.  Responsibilities  Carrying out planned and responsive electrical maintenance. Maintaining and repairing general and specialist lighting systems. Working on lighting within controlled environments. Conducting RCD testing and associated electrical testing. Completing minor electrical installation and new works. Supporting project installations and electrical improvement works. Diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical faults. Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and specifications. Carrying out routine inspections to identify potential faults or hazards.
