Electrician

We are currently seeking an experienced Electrician to join our team on a commercial construction project.

Electrician Responsibilities

• Carrying out electrical snagging works across completed commercial areas and facilities
• Identifying, diagnosing, and rectifying electrical defects in line with project specifications and quality standards
• Testing and commissioning electrical installations where required
• Replacing or repairing damaged accessories, lighting systems, containment, power outlets, and other electrical components
• Ensuring all electrical systems are fully operational and ready for client handover
• Reading and interpreting electrical drawings, specifications, and snagging schedules
• Liaising with site management and other trades to complete outstanding works within project deadlines
• Assisting with final inspections and ensuring compliance with current electrical regulations
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised working environment at all times

Electrician Requirements

• Valid ECS Gold Card
• NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• Proven experience carrying out snagging, testing, fault finding, and final fix works on commercial construction projects
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Experience working with commercial lighting, power, and containment systems
• Own tools and PPE
• Ability to work independently and efficiently to meet project handover deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality finished work
