Electrician / Plumber Fri-Mon
Location: North and North West London
Working Pattern: Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday, 8:00am to 5:00pm (including Public Holidays when they fall on these days)
About the Role
Gilmartins is seeking an experienced Electrician / Plumber to join our Emergency Call-Out (ECO) team, delivering reactive repairs and maintenance services within social housing properties across North and North West London.
The successful candidate will be multi-skilled, with electrical qualifications and experience, alongside plumbing skills to carry out a range of domestic repairs efficiently and to a high standard.
Essential Qualifications
Applicants must hold:
- 2365 Level 3 Diploma in Electrical Installation (or equivalent electrical qualification)
- BS7671:2018 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- 2391 Inspection and Testing qualification
Skills & Experience
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience as a qualified Electrician
- Good domestic plumbing experience
- Experience of working within social housing (preferred)
- Strong fault-finding, maintenance and repair skills
- Ability to work independently and manage emergency call-outs
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
Key Responsibilities
- Attend emergency call-outs within occupied social housing properties
- Carry out electrical repairs, fault-finding, testing and maintenance
- Undertake minor to medium domestic plumbing repairs and maintenance
- Complete works in accordance with job specifications provided via PDA
- Ensure all work is carried out safely, professionally and in compliance with relevant regulations
- Maintain accurate records and complete all required paperwork electronically
Requirements
- Full UK manual driving licence (automatic and EU licences not accepted)
- Own tools
- Valid DBS certificate
- Available to work every Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday, including Public Holidays when applicable
- Ability to travel across North and North West London
