Our client, a prominent player in the Defence and Security sector, is currently looking to appoint a Training Equipment Electrical Maintainer (Electrician) to join their team based in Fareham, Hampshire. Key Responsibilities:Continuously improving personal contributions to the businessSupporting future change within the companyCollaborating effectively with MoD staff, maintaining appropriate behavioursChampioning and fostering a culture of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) compliance and continuous improvementAssessing reported breakdowns for rectification or escalationActing as the front-line maintainer for breakdowns of Training EquipmentLiaising with external resources and assisting as required for rapid rectification of defectsCarrying out Planned Maintenance as directed by the Maintenance Team LeadJob Requirements:Experience in servicing electrical equipment in a marine and/or military environmentExperience in fault finding, diagnosing, and repairing electrical equipmentLevel 3 NVQ Diploma in Electrotechnical Technology or equivalent18th Edition certificationStrong problem-solving abilitiesIT literacyAbility to work unsupervisedDesirable Experience:Experience in using Computerised Maintenance SystemsPossession of a driving licenceExperience or knowledge of working on mechanical equipmentBenefits:Competitive salaryContributory Pension Scheme (up to 8% company contribution)Life Assurance (6 times salary) with pension25 days holiday (increasing with service) + ..... full job details .....
