Electrician - BESS Site



Job Overview

We are currently recruiting experienced Project Site Electricians to work on a major Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-growing sector within the renewable energy industry, supporting electrical installation works on a high-profile infrastructure site.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical installation works across the BESS project site
• Install, terminate, and test electrical systems and equipment
• Read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documentation
• Support commissioning and energisation activities where required
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with site procedures and industry standards
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and compliance with health & safety regulations
• Work collaboratively with site management and other trades on site

Essential Requirements

• Relevant Electrical Trade Qualifications
• Proven experience working as a site electrician within industrial, construction, or energy environments
• Strong understanding of site health & safety procedures
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment

Desirable Experience

• Previous experience working on BESS sites or similar HV / renewable energy projects
• Experience within substations, energy infrastructure, or industrial installations
• ECS / JIB accreditation advantageous

Working Hours & Rates

• 45 hours per week
• -32 per hour
• Umbrella / CIS payment
• Inside IR35

• Immediate starts available subject to onboarding and site clearance
