This Electrician opportunity you will play a key role in the installation of electrical systems on our state-of-the-art naval vessels. Our skilled electrical teams work on a variety of scope from advanced military communication systems and weapons systems to small power and lighting systems. What you''ll be doing:Installation of a variety of types of cables (multi-core, single core and co-axial) and electrical systems (junction boxes, fuse panels, consoles, transformers, switches etc.)Cable termination and installation of all electrical equipmentRead and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentationCollaborate with shipbuilding teams to ensure timely and efficient completion of electrical installationsEnsure all work complies with safety and quality standardsYour skills and experiences: Modern Apprenticeship - SVQ 3 or equivalentRelevant experience in a marine installation or major industrial installation environmentUnderstanding all assessments, Risk, PUWER and COSHHUnderstanding of relevant trade drawingsKnowledge of tag out process and the correct proving dead procedureMounting of electrical equipment and componentsEarthing of equipment and termination of cables to workmanship ..... full job details .....
