Electrician / Smoke Ventilation Engineer (Smoke Ventilations experience is not essential) Location: Manchester-based (Nationwide travel) Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week (flexible start/finish times) The Opportunity An established company is seeking an Electrician / Smoke Ventilation Engineer to join their field-based team. Working in pairs, you ll cover sites across the North of England, and towards the Midlands, installing and maintaining life-safety systems in a variety of environments. Key Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair Automatic Opening Vent (AOV) systems Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs Ensure systems meet safety and customer requirements Provide technical support and guidance to clients Complete job reports and documentation accurately Work collaboratively with team members to deliver high-quality service Inspect, test, and maintain mechanical and electrical components What We re Looking For Apprentice trained (essential) Electrical experience (single-phase and three-phase systems) Knowledge of contactors, relays, inverters, and control panels Pneumatics and compressor experience 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (desirable) Comfortable working at heights (essential) Willingness to join an on-call rota Flexibility to travel and stay away when required (primarily Scotland all expenses paid) Based in or around Manchester (essential for team pairing and logistics) Working Pattern and Travel Flexible hours depending on ..... full job details .....
