We''re hiring an Electrician to join a globally recognised manufacturer based in the High Peak. This is a great opportunity to work in a modern, well-equipped heavy engineering workshop, wiring and testing electrical control panels as part of a skilled and experienced team. What s on offer? £33k - £38k p/a 4-day workweek Day shifts: 7:30am 4:30pm Mon - Thu Overtime available at an enhanced rate Employee pension contribution scheme 25 days holiday Death in service: x2 annual salary Employee healthcare scheme Annual company events What will you be doing as an Electrician? Control panel assembly - building, wiring and testing electrical control panels Assembling and connecting electromechanical components Reading and working from electrical schematics and mechanical drawings Carrying out electrical fault finding where required Ensuring all work conforms to relevant drawing specifications and tolerances Checking that calibrated equipment is in good condition and within calibration date What do you need? Time served to NVQ3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering 18th Edition wiring regulations (desirable) Experience working as an electrician within heavy manufacturing Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and electrical schematics Experience with 3 phase electrical systems and panel wiring Experience with frequency inverters and PLCs Interested?
