We are looking for a qualified Approved Electrician to join our Building Safety and Compliance team and play a vital role in delivering our high-quality repairs, maintenance and compliance service. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced electrician who enjoys a varied role, takes pride in delivering excellent customer service, and wants to make a real difference to local communities. About the role As an Approved Electrician, you will carry out a range of electrical installation, maintenance, testing and fault-finding work within occupied homes, communal areas and other Connexus properties. You will ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and in line with current regulations and company standards. Key responsibilities include: Carrying out electrical repairs, maintenance and installation work. Testing, inspecting and certifying electrical systems. Installing and maintaining fire alarms, emergency lighting, heating controls and door entry systems. Diagnosing faults and completing repairs first time wherever possible. Working in compliance with BS7671 Wiring Regulations and health and safety requirements. Participating in the out-of-hours emergency repairs service on a rota basis.
