Job Title: Electrician - Social Housing Repairs
Location: Luton Based | Covering Luton, Milton Keynes, Bedford & Cambridge
Salary: -40,000 - -43,325 + Company Van & Fuel Card

We are working with a leading social housing contractor who is looking to recruit an experienced Electrician to join their growing reactive maintenance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a permanent position with a well-established business that offers a competitive salary, long-term stability, and a consistent workload.

Working across occupied social housing properties, you''ll be responsible for delivering high-quality electrical repairs, maintenance, and installations while providing an excellent service to residents. If you''re a qualified Electrician who enjoys fault finding, problem solving, and takes pride in completing work to a high standard, we''d love to hear from you.

This role covers Luton, Milton Keynes, Bedford and Cambridge, so you''ll need to be comfortable travelling across these areas.

• Carry out reactive electrical repairs, maintenance and installations within occupied social housing properties.
• Diagnose electrical faults quickly and complete first-time fixes wherever possible.
• Undertake electrical testing, inspection and remedial works as required.
• Ensure all work complies with current electrical regulations and health & safety standards.
• Accurately complete job reports and update works using a PDA or mobile device.
• Maintain company van stock and ensure materials are used efficiently.
• Deliver outstanding customer service while working professionally in tenants'' homes.
• Work independently to manage your daily workload while supporting the wider maintenance team when required.

• Proven experience working as an Electrician within social housing, domestic maintenance or reactive repairs.
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.
• 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification (or equivalent) is desirable.
• AM2 qualification is advantageous.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Good knowledge of current electrical regulations and safe working practices.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
