Maintenance Electrician HMP Cardiff Full-Time PermanentYour New CompanyA leading provider of maintenance within the secure environment of HMP Cardiff is seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join its growing team. Working across the establishment, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality electrical repairs, testing, maintenance, and installation services. Your New RoleAs a Maintenance Electrician and part of the Works Department you will be responsible for both reactive repairs and planned and preventative maintenance. Key duties will include: Testing and inspecting electrical installations in a commercial buildingCarrying out repairs, maintenance, and fault-finding on electrical systems.Replacing circuits and consumer units.Undertaking full and partial property rewires.Delivering electrical repairs and testing within occupied and void housing stock.Completing work in line with current wiring regulations and company procedures.Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation and site-specific requirements.Participating in an out-of-hours call-out rota when required.What You''ll Need to Succeed To be successful in this role, you will have: Essential QualificationsCity and Guilds 2391 Inspection and Testing (or 2394 and 2395 equivalent)City and Guilds 2382 Electrical Wiring RegulationsCity and Guilds 2360/2351 Installation Certificate or equivalent NVQ qualificationFull UK Driving LicenceAsbestos Awareness Training Desirable QualificationsCity and ..... full job details .....
