Identify alarms that are expired, damaged or require replacement. Replace smoke alarms where required. Complete the necessary Minor Works Certificate following replacement works. Requirements - - - - - - 18th Edition . Experience working within social housing or occupied properties is desirable. Good understanding of electrical safety and smoke alarm systems. Able to complete electrical certification accurately. Comfortable using a PDA/tablet to record inspection information. Self-employed and available to undertake subcontract work.
